A 17 years old boy in Peru, has a worm in his eye about an inch long. He went to hospital. Doctors discover inch-long worm living in teenager's eye and coax it out with basil. The worm is living in his eye around from a month. The worm is living in sensitive are of face, that called a triangle of death where infection spread to the brain. Doctor used the basil leaves to get worm out from boys eye. Dr. Carolina Marchena said "Due to the smell of basil leaves, the worm came out, but because of the size of the worm it's impossible to came out completely on its zone." Once the head of the worm came out doctors are able to use tweezers to pull it out completely.
